Hello UOO Family,

We are in deep planning for our summer missions trip. Dates will be August 26 – September 6, 2016.

Our board member Pastor Rose will be leading the trip, accompanied by Kris Stoesz. Rose is organizing a dental, medical trip and has already stirred up interest in a group of dentists from Northern Colorado to go and serve orphans in Ukraine. We will be visiting orphanages with our ministry partners, bring the Good News through word and deed. We will update our website with confirmed details as we get them. We will be asking our UOO family to gather donations for us to take to Ukraine as well. We are looking forward to another incredible short term mission trip, serving alongside our long ministry partners as well as cultivating new ones
UOO has witnessed the life changing effects of a happy, healthy smile. One of our favorite stories of a smile transforming an orphan’s life is that of Masha. When she arrived at camp the summer of 2010, she had just been in an accident before traveling to the States. She had fallen and chipped her two front teeth. Not only was Masha in excruciating pain upon her arrival, but her spirit was crushed as she gazed into the mirror looking at her broken smile. During Masha’s time at UOO camp, we were able to visit many dentists in the area that reconstructed her damaged teeth and by departure day, she left with a beautiful smile and joyful heart. Masha’s new smile gave her assurance and confidence in life, as well as putting trust in others. Masha has been adopted into an amazing forever family in the Chicago area.
