"Go Friends" Striy Center for the Displaced
Oksana (UOO Field Director) and Eugene are co-workers from an IT company, "Go Friends," in Kyiv. In the midst of their own evacuation these two immediately collaborated and came up with this much needed center situated in Western Ukraine. This center is a place of shelter, rest, food and community.
Eugene had approached the mayor of the city to ask if there is a place to house displaced, and weary travelers. Turning an unoccupied hospital with extremely rough conditions into a place of refuge and hope has been an incredible gift to hundreds of displaced over the last month. Becoming a rest stop and focal point to converge needs with supplies, Ukraine Orphan Outreach is excited to be a part of this effort, supplying food, gas, medical supplies, and equipment needed.

This effort is possible through many organizations, churches and the communities serving Ukraine. Our goal is to continue this financial support for all the varying needs, as well as logistical support in Ukraine with deliveries, communication, procurement, repairs, and coordination.
