Memorial Fund for Micol Woodiel

Hello UOO supporters, as you know, we have advocated for adoption ever since adopting Natalie Stoesz in 2003. Mentoring families has been such a wonderful blessing as well as exciting to see orphans adopted into their forever families! It brings so much joy to us, the adoptive families as well as the surrounding community every time an orphan comes home to their forever family! About 10 years ago, Bart and Kathy stepped out in faith and obedience and answered the call to adopt. We joyfully shared our stories and journeys together as adoptive families.
Tragically last Friday, we learned that 19 year old Micol had died in a car wreck in the mountains of Colorado. Our hearts go out to our dear friends, Bart and Kathy Wilson Woodiel and the entire family, friends and community who are suffering a huge loss of a beautiful life gone too soon. Our hearts have been heavy as we walk alongside our grieving friends.

Bart and Kathy have asked that Micol Woodiel’s Memorial Fund be directed to orphan care, and we are honored to be able to keep Micol’s memory alive in this way. Micol’s older sister, Jenny,  has asked for a portion of the memorial fund to be directed to the orphanage in Columbia that Micol and Jenny were adopted from and we, again, are so honored to do this.

Micol’s legacy will live on through all of us who were touched by his warm, friendly smile and beautiful heart.
If you wish to donate, click on the link below for a way to keep Micol’s legacy alive. Please make a note in the memo section with Micol’s name.

Please lift up the Woodiel family today, tomorrow, next week and for the years to come.

What an honor it is to serve the ONE who gives us life,

Kris and Clarke Stoesz

I love this picture of Jenny and Micol when they were younger….and the ONE starfish. Make a difference in this life, make a difference to just ONE. Praying for Bart, Kathy Wilson Woodiel, Jenny, Justin Woodiel, Stephany Lynn McClure and all the family during this painful time of loss of a beautiful life. Praying for strength, peace and God’s comfort during this week and years to come.
