Mission Work
Mission Trips are life-changing! Consider being a part of this life-changing experience by joining us on one of the yearly mission trips. We have been taking teams to Ukraine for over seven years and as a result, lives have been changed through the relationships made. It is essential to Ukraine Orphan Outreach that we invest in our special relationships with our friends and ministry partners in Ukraine by returning back to see them as often as we can. Because of our desire to return to spend time with our friends year after year, we have become a family. We invite you to become part of this family!
So often we want to go on a mission trip to "do" something. To repair a fence, to paint a bench, to build a project...to just "do" something. When going to another country to serve on a mission trip, it is paramount to remember that what counts is to just "be". To just to "be" with our friends as we continue to cultivate and deepen our relationships with those we support, serve and serve with. Going to Ukraine is a time to let go of expectations and allow God to take one step ahead of us to reveal His perfect purpose for each missionary. With that said, mission trips are exciting and you will most likely find yourself outside of your comfort zone, and that's ok! Mission trips can be scary...the food can be scary, the transportation is definitely a nail bitter and with the current situation in Ukraine, it is fearful to think that on the far east side of the country there is a deadly conflict still taking place.
Most importantly, mission trips will change how you see the world. For many of the past missionaries, it has profoundly changed their lives because of the experience of the trip. With the world pandemic, we were not able to travel in 2020. We are planning loosely for a 2021 trip later in the year. As decisions are made and plans develop, we will keep our website updated.
