Fort Fun

On Friday the camp kids enjoyed an afternoon at Fort Fun in Fort Collins.  The turnout was incredible – we had a total of 28 children and volunteers!  The children loved the freedom to choose which activities they wanted to ride.  Valeri loved the paddle boats on the lake.  All afternoon he dared our volunteers to ride with him and get wet.  Annette made the mistake of riding with Nadia and getting drenched under the water fountain in the middle of the lake. The bumper boats with water guns were the favorites of Oksana and Sasha.  Everyone loved the huge yellow slide, but they were too fast for me to get any good photos!  Almost every photo I took came up empty! Finally, the miniature golf was the perfect activity to help the kids dry out in the sun after being drenched by the water rides.

A big thanks to Sarah and her family for bringing fresh fruit, granola bars and juice for all of the children!
