A brief look at the history of UOO and were its going as it reaches out to aged out orphans in Ukraine. We are excited about starting our first transition home in the Donetsk region and are looking foward to seeing the affect it will have on older orphans as they enter into society. We will be posting more details on our progress and ways that you can get involved as our new project develops. Special thanks to the band Cloverton for the use of their song “Into the Beautiful”

We are in the planning process for Camp 2011. Tentative dates are July 26 – August 16th. Our goal is to advocate for the older orphans of Ukraine and be able to give them an opportunity to experience life outside of the orphanage. We are looking for volunteers to help with camp, from donations of clothing, snacks, field trips, crafts or just spending time with the children. We promise that your life will be forever changed when you get involved helping the least of these.
See the 9News video below. It’s a very well done story filmed when we took the kids flying at the Ft Collins-Loveland airport. See the blog entry by clicking here.
We’ve just created a new video for Ukraine Orphan Outreach that shows some of the staggering statistics of the children in Ukraine and what UOO’s heart is for them. A special thanks to Jay Stocker for letting us use one of the songs from his Hidden in My Heart album.
